Why Do You Love Football Or What’s Your Football Philosophy: Some of my earliest and happiest memories in life are of playing and watching football, meeting and making new friends through football. My philosophy on the game from a coaching point of view is to let the kids; enjoy the game, let them play without fear of making mistakes and try and give them the tools they need to become successful. Always focus on the long term goals of player development and do not get hung up on being a scoreboard coach. From a playing point of view, play hard and fair and keep playing and enjoying the game as long as you can because you are a long time retired.

The love for the game comes from enjoying the sport as a young player, I was fortunate enough to have coaches who were passionate about the game and gave me their own time to allow me to take part in the sport I love. I try to mirror the same passion, enthusiasm, motivation and love for the game in my day to day work as a community coach. In my coaching sessions in schools and nurseries throughout the Falkirk area. Love the game, respect the game, but most of all, ENJOY THE GAME!
